One in a series of hand painted scroll paintings recording a local harvest festival. This scroll panel depicts sudden rain falling on festival workers and performers on the festival grounds. They are huddled with their umbrellas and staying out of the rain under the tea house roof. Edo period. The painted panel measures 14 x 22.  Mounted on paper for protection.
